Yesterday, New Year eve, family and I went to Chinatown to get last minute stuffs. This year, is really a different year. Cos' we had MacDonald's for dinner.. (Apparently all the restaurants were closed and we're really pathetic.) Nevertheless, the weather turned out raining. What a way to commemorate a new year. After Chinatown, we went to somewhere near Marina Bay Sands and enjoyed the spectacular fireworks by the roadside. Sadly, it was raining quite heavily and we had to stay in the car...

Fireworks started, signifying it's Chinese New Year. Yeah, 12a.m. in the morning and we're buying flowers at some wholesale nursery at Upp Thomson Road. 

And that marks the end of my CNY journey. It's gonna be evening soon. This year doesn't seem as noisy and busy compared to last year. Maybe next year it will, cos' of the arrivals of newborn baby cousins! Oh well, still a long way to go and time to be serious after the celebration! Work hard and play even harder. And... soon my birthday will be coming as well. Happy me. 

Some baking I did before shopping for CNY stuffs. 

Yay me. Gonna bring these to school on Wednesday. Have a great and fulfilling year ahead. Don't get stressed out especially those who're having streaming this year. Good luck and success in everything!
